Dasvi is an upcoming Indian Bollywood social comedy movie written by Ritesh Shah and directed by Tushar Jalota.The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan under his banner Maddock Films in collaboration with Jio Studios.Dasvi hindi movie stars Abhishek Bachchan as Ganga Ram Chaudhary, Yami Gautam as IPS Officer Jyoti Deswal, Nimrat Kaur as Bimla Devi.

Abhishek Bachchan plays the role of an uneducated politician, with Yami Gautam as an IPS officer. The film Dasvi is scheduled to premiere(Release) on JioCinema & Netflix on 7 April 2022.

The plot was inspired by the true story of former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala, who passed his Class XII exam at the age of 82 while serving a prison sentence for his involvement in the teachers' recruitment scam.
